2009.06.01 Introduction
I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 21, which is about ten years ago. Known as one of the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD), Crohn's Disease requires its patients practice severe diet restriction to maintain their remission status.

Based on my experience with Crohn's and knowledge of Japanese nutritional therapy, I will introduce you to special recipes for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. All the recipes will be useful to maintain remission status. The basic concepts of recipes I will provide are 1) low fat, 2) low residue, and 3) highly nutritional. I will apply some know-how of nutritional therapy, which is very common among IBD patients in Japan.

Please note that although I will try to make safe recipes, some may include cooking ingredient unsuitable for IBD. I am not a professional cook, and thus rely on my personal experience and knowledge to make recipes. You can refer to my recipes for cooking, but please be responsible for your own health by yourself.
