Tomato Risotto Recipe
Rice is better than bread for IBD cooking because obviously, it does not contain butter unlike bread, and thus is not fatty. Rice is also appropriate for dieting.
Cooking Instructions
(1) Soak short-necked clams in salt water to get rid of sand from them. Leave them for 30 minutes.
(2) Take the clams out from the salt water. Prepare a pan. Put some water and the clams in it. Simmer the clams over low heat to make clam soup.
(3) Chop the garlic and onion finely.
(4) Saute the chopped garlic and onion in a pot with olive oil. Suggestion- I recommend you use an oil mister
to reduce the volume of oil.
(5) Add canned tomatos to the pot, and keep boiling for 10 minutes. This wiil be the tomato sauce.
(6) Prepare another pot and put steamed rice in it. Then add (2) and (5), and simmer over low heat. Don't forget to stir it sometimes. Finally, add some salt and pepper to it.

*I used Japonica rice, but Indica rice is recommended for this recipe.
